The research interests of the group includes gravitational lensing, theoretical modeling of galaxy formation and evolution, numerical simulation of large-scale structures and star formation. Applicants with experience in weak lensing (theorist or observer) or hydrodynamical simulation are especially encouraged to apply for these positions. The salary depends on qualification and experience, and will be highly competitive.
The galaxy and cosmology group is a newly established partner group between PMO and Max-Planck-institute for Astronomy, located in Nanjing which is one hour from Shanghai by high-speed train.
