Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Exoplanets The University of Western Ontario
The Department of Physics & Astronomy invites applications for a tenure-track position that has a research focus on exoplanets, including exoplanetary atmospheres, through theoretical, observational and/or experimental methods. The Department is home to a research-intensive environment involving 28 faculty, 80+ graduate students and active research groups in astronomy, atmospheric physics, condensed-matter physics, medical physics, and planetary science. The Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration (http://cpsx.uwo.ca) acts as an anchor for interdisciplinary research that spans multiple Departments and Faculties. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, within the Department of Physics and Astronomy. The selected candidate will be nominated for a Tier 2 CRC.
