New York University Abu Dhabi has a number of openings for Postdoctoral Fellows in Astrophysics. These positions are offered for a period of 3 years, starting September 2013. Competitive salary and benefits, including relocation, housing, and education of children, are offered.
In particular, postdoctoral positions with Prof. Ingyin Zaw in the area of extragalactic astronomy are available. Candidates with interest and experience in the observational or theoretical study of active galactic nuclei and/or extragalactic masers are strongly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be encouraged to develop independent projects in addition to supporting Prof. Zaw's research. Candidates must hold, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. degree in Astronomy, Physics, Astrophysics or a related subject and have demonstrated a strong research background.
