Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in theoretical cosmology and astrophysics with Professor Paul Shapiro. A background in cosmology, computational cosmology, and related areas would be useful, including galaxy and large-scale structure formation, cosmic reionization, intergalactic medium, high-redshift star formation, gas and gravitational dynamics, radiative processes and radiative transfer, and numerical simulation. This position will be for up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance. Renewal beyond this is also possible, for a particularly successful fellow, subject to the availability of funds. The position is open and can begin immediately, subject to the availability of the candidate, but not later than on or about September 1, 2013.
Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae, a summary of past research accomplishments and current research interests and plans, and arrange for at least three letters of reference to be sent no later than December 14, 2012.
Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. EOE/AAE
