Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in observational studies of circumstellar disks at the University of Oklahoma. The successful applicant will work with Dr John Wisniewski and will analyze ground- and space-based high contrast imagery of protoplanetary and debris disk systems.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Astronomy or Physics. Previous experience analyzing optical-IR high-contrast imagery of circumstellar disks is highly desirable. The initial appointment will be for 1 year, renewable to a total of 3 years contigent on satisfactory performance and continued funding. The expected start date for the position is August 2013 or earlier.
