The Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (CAA), a new research center established at Shanghai JiaoTong University (SJTU) is seeking to fill up to 6 postdoctoral positions in the research field of cosmology and galaxy formation. SJTU is one of top a few universities in China, and CAA was setup to become a research center of excellence. The postdoctoral fellowships are intended for active young researchers of all nationality, and are expected to work with the staff members. The appointment is awarded for two years initially and extendable for up to five years. The salary is above 130000 RMB (>20000 USD) annually, depending on qualification and experience, and an apartment room located in the campus of SJTU is provided. The research center has very good computer facilities, ample research funds, and an active visitors program.
