The PITTsburgh Particle physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology Center (PITT PACC, www.physicsandastronomy.pitt.edu/pittpacc) at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a named senior postdoctoral research fellow in particle physics, astrophysics and/or cosmology starting in the fall of 2013. The appointment is initially for two years with the possibility of extension for a third year. Generous salary and research funds will be provided. Members of PITT PACC conduct theoretical, experimental, and observational research in the above three broad areas. Applicants in any of these areas are encouraged to apply. In addition to actively performing scholarly research, the fellow will help coordinate PITT PACC academic activities, e.g., hosting visitors and organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences. The successful candidate must have a PhD degree and strong research credentials.
