Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in theoretical astrophysics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The successful applicant will work with Prof. S. Peng Oh on topics broadly related to the physics of the intergalactic and intracluster medium. Computational expertise is a plus. The appointment is for two years, with a possible third year extension depending on funding and performance. The UCSB Physics department and the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) host a strong and stimulating research environment.
The appointment is expected to start in Summer or Fall 2013.
