The research project will be focused on the following activities: 1) development of algorithms to identify and characterize galaxy clusters within the photometric and spectroscopic surveys of the Euclid mission; 3) developments of algorithms for calculating correlation functions and power spectra for surveys of galaxies and clusters of galaxies from the Euclid mission; 3) application of these algorithms to existing photometric surveys and to “mock Euclid surveys”.
Staff members of the INAF/Trieste Astronomical Observatory directly interested in this Podstoctoral research project include: A. Biviano, S. Borgani, G. De Lucia, M. Nonino, M. Viel.
