The Department of Physics & Astronomy at TAMU-Commerce is seeking an ambitious and motivated post-doctoral researcher in the field of numerical astrophysics.  The postdoctoral researcher will be working with and modifying existing SPH and Eulerian codes to model the dynamics of accretion flows in cataclysmic variable systems and related objects.  The postdoctoral researcher will focus on code development, implementation, production runs, and the writing of journal articles.  Previous experience in large-code development including MPI and OpenMP is strongly recommended. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Astronomy or Physics prior to the application deadline of February 1, 2013.
