New SO-IFT Postdoctoral Position in Cosmology.

The Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT-UAM/CSIC), Madrid, Spain, announces the opening of a postdoctoral position in the area of cosmology, to begin in Fall 2013. This position is funded under the Severo Ochoa (SO) Program for Scientific Excellence, a distinction recently awarded to the IFT.

The IFT members develop research in the frontiers of Elementary Particle Physics, Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology, in order to understand the fundamental keys of Nature and the Universe. We benefit from close associations with the Astrophysics Group at UAM Theoretical Physics Department. IFT is involved in several ongoing cosmology projects including BOSS and DES, as well as planning for eBOSS, PAU, DESpec, BigBOSS and Euclid. Scientists with interests in large scale structure, simulation and data analysis are especially encouraged to apply. See http://www.ift.uam-csic.es/en for more information regarding the IFT research.

Interested candidates with scientific expertise in the area of cosmology should file an application before January 30, 2013 using the web form at  http://remo.ift.uam-csic.es/postdoc/, which requires the upload of a CV and a list of publications , a research statement describing future research interests and the provision of three letters of reference.
