This is a 2-year fixed-term research-only position funded by the Australian Research Council. The successful appointee will work with Dr. Raquel Salmeron (The Australian National University) and Prof. Mark Wardle (Macquarie University) on theoretical and numerical studies relating to the physics of accretion disks surrounding young stars.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated clear research achievements in theoretical and/or numerical astrophysics. The appointee will have access to the computational environment of the National Computational Infrastructure Peak Facility, subject to successful "time application" proposals.
