The Astronomy Department at the University of Science and Technology of China is seeking to fill a number of faculty positions at full, associate and assistant levels. We seek individuals whose research will complement and expand the current research activities of the department that include cosmology and large-scale structure, the formation and evolution of galaxies and active galactic nuclei, high-energy astrophysics, extra-solar planets, and astronomical instrumentation. We particularly encourage applications through national recruitment programs, such as the Thousand Talents Programs A (full-time positions), B (short-term visiting positions), and C (full-time positions for people at their early career), the Hundred Talents Program.
