The Department of Physics and Astronomy has an opening for an associate or full professor to complete our senior hires for Georgia State University's Second Century Initiative on Stellar Astrophysics, Exoplanets, and Astroinformatics (large-scale surveys, data mining, etc.). Applicants should have recognized expertise in one or more of the above areas, suitable for an appointment at the associate or full professor level with a strong possibility of tenure on hire. Applicants are also expected to have a proven record of significant research funding as well as existing grants.
