A 2-year postdoc position is available at the Max-Planck Institut fur Extraterrestrische Physik in Garching for observational or theoretical studies of star- and planet formation starting in Fall 2014. The postdoc will be part of an international team studying the physical and chemical evolution of young stellar objects and protoplanetary disks using Herschel spectroscopy as well as ground-based infrared and submillimeter data, in particular ALMA. The candidate is also encouraged to pursue a personal research program. Extension to 3 years may be possible depending on available funding.
