Faculty Positions in the Department of Physics at the University of Chicago
The Department of Physics and the Enrico Fermi Institute at the University of Chicago invite applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and Associate Professor. The search area includes, but is not limited to, gravitation theory (such as numerical relativity and gravitational wave astronomy) and theoretical cosmology (especially connections with particle physics and gravitation).
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in physics or a related field prior to beginning the appointment and are expected to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching programs while engaging in forefront research.

The cover letter should be addressed to Professor Robert Wald, Chair, Faculty Search Committee. In addition, three recommendation letters will be required.
