Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Stellar or Interstellar Astronomy at University of Washington. The candidate will work with Professor George Wallerstein on stellar spectra and their modelling and/or interstellar absorption lines and their interpretation.
The position is initially for two years, with a possible extension for a third year subject to a performance review and availability of funds. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy or a related field by the start date of the position (nominally September 1, 2014).
