Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in weak gravitational lensing and cosmology at the University of Pennsylvania. The postdoc will have the opportunity to participate in the Dark Energy Survey (DES) and to interact with a number of Penn postdocs and faculty active in theoretical and experimental cosmology.
The University of Pennsylvania Physics and Astronomy department hosts a vibrant astrophysics research program that provides a stimulating research environment. In addition to DES, the group currently participates in a number of cosmology projects including ACT, BLAST, PAPER, and the planned surveys with LSST and Euclid. Penn has also recently established the Center for Particle Cosmology to support research at the interface of the two fields.
