Applications are invited for an STFC-supported Post-doctoral Research Assistant in the Astronomy & Astrophysics group at the University of Warwick. You will work in collaboration with members of the group on extragalactic transient science. In particular gamma-ray bursts, supernovae and tidal disruption flares.
You must hold, or be about to obtain, a Ph.D. degree in astronomy. Experience in observational astronomy and familiarity with the reduction and analysis of spectroscopic and photometric data will be a strong advantage.
The position is available from 1st April 2014 for a period of 3 years (or until 31st March 2017).
