Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral research position at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Tuebingen (IAAT). The city of Tuebingen is a picturesque old town in Southwest Germany with a relatively large student population.

The research activities of the IAAT focus on Astronomy, Instrumental Design/High Energy Physics, Computational Astrophysics and Relativistic Astrophysics.

The successful applicant will carry out original research in the field of Planet Formation working in the group of Professor Wilhelm Kley. Funding is within the German Research Foundation (DFG) Priority Programme: "The first 10 Million Years of the Solar System". Emphasis lies on the accretion of solid material onto growing planets embedded in protoplanetary disks. Experience in performing numerical hydrodynamical simulations is highly desirable.
