The Cosmology group at the Centre de Physique des Particules de Marseille (CPPM, France) offers a postdoctoral position to work on cosmological probes using large scale structures. Our team is currently involved in the analysis of galaxy clustering in the SDSS/BOSS spectroscopic redshift survey, and is preparing eBOSS and Euclid future surveys. The successful candidate will have privileged access to SDSS-III and SDSS-IV data, and is expected to interact with researchers of the Center for Theoretical Physics (CPT) and the Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM). Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a closely related field. Experience with galaxy clustering is desirable.
Applicants should send a curriculum vitae, brief summary of research experience, bibliography, and arrange to have three letters of reference to be sent to Dr. Stephanie Escoffier, firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications submitted by 1st March 2014 will be given full consideration.
