Research Associate - Theoretical Astrophysics

In this project, the successful applicant will perform cosmological simulations of galaxy transformation in dense environments, in particular, from spirals into S0s.  The simulation results will be compared with latest observational results on the physical properties of S0s in groups and clusters of galaxies so that we can understand the origin of S0s and galaxy transformation processes in general.
The candidates are required to have experiences of performing numerical simulations of galaxies.
