TReX- Transient Relativistic eXplosions
We announce three postdoctoral positions at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem to carry research under a new ERC grant (TReX) – Mergers, Tidal disruption events (TDEs) and Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs).
The fellows will be part of the Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science of the Hebrew University and the Israeli Center for Research Excellence in Astrophysics (I-Core).
Terms of the fellowship are according to the rules of the Hebrew University: A tax free scholarship of about* 130,000 ILS per year and assistance in relocation. The position is for two years with a possible extension to a third year.
*Depending on time after PhD and martial status.
Preference is given to candidates that are less than 5 years after PhD but more senior candidates will also be considered.
