Berkeley Lab's Computational Research Division is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join the team in the Computational Cosmology Center (C3) to work on an effort funded by the Department of Energy’s Exascale Computing Project. We seek candidates with a PhD in astronomy, physics, applied mathematics, computer science or related field with experience in high-performance computing. A successful candidate will contribute to the development the of multi-physics Nyx code, and have an opportunity to do research related to the Lyman-alpha forest, clusters of galaxies or weak gravitational lensing.
Members of C3 work directly with several cosmology experiments, including eBOSS, DESI, DES, LSST, Euclid and WFIRST.
