The Physics Department at Colorado College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position starting in August, 2017. We prefer a candidate with some teaching experience who can teach across our physics curriculum. Further, we are dedicated to the development of faculty and staff who are committed to inclusive practices in teaching, learning, and working. The Colorado College is a selective, undergraduate liberal arts college of 2000 students at the foot of Pikes Peak. Our unusual academic calendar, in which students take and faculty teach one course at a time, allows flexibility for innovative teaching. Our department has graduated an average of about a dozen majors per year recently.
