The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics in the College of Natural and Health Sciences at The University of Tampa invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics for the 2017-18 academic year.
The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially-based private institution of 8,300 undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in undergraduate education for both science and non-science majors and will be encouraged to engage in service to the department, the college, and The University community. Scholarly activity is encouraged but not required.
Ph.D. is required. Prior teaching experience with undergraduates is highly desirable.
