The Department of Physics & Astronomy (http://dornsife.usc.edu/physics) at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles is hiring a tenure-track assistant professor in Astrophysics or Cosmology with an anticipated start date of Fall, 2018. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in physics or a related field. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the extraction of Astrophysics from gravitational wave observations, but we also encourage applications from candidates in other areas of specialization in Astrophysics or Cosmology. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent research in these areas.
