Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) is seeking to fill one or two faculty positions in the area of cosmology and radio astronomy. We are seeking for prospective faculty members who can help to establish a group of SKA cosmology research in PMO, with strong research track record, and international impact. The preference would be given to the candidate(s) who have strong skills of cosmological data analysis and radio astronomy experiences.
Research fields in PMO includes dark matter experimental searches, galaxy evolution and cosmology, high-energy astrophysics, and sub-mm astronomy. Members of the institute are actively involved in other international and domestic projects such as SDSS-IV, FAST, SKA and DAMPE. The Observatory is current a mixture of Chinese and international researchers, including 328 faculty members, 15 postdocs, and 89 PhD students. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree and have a demonstrated record of outstanding research, along with a strong commitment to involve graduate students in research (no teaching commitment is required).
