Job Description
The department of astronomy (DoA) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions, in all frontiers of astronomy and astrophysics, from exoplanets to cosmology, and from theoretical astrophysics to observational astronomy. Existing research areas at DoA include observational, numerical, and theoretical cosmology, galaxy formation and galactic dynamics. DoA is also eager to expand into other frontiers of astronomy including exoplanets, time-domain astronomy and instruments. More information can be found at http://astro.sjtu.edu.cn/en.

Applicants to the Tsung-Dao Lee institute astronomy division do not need to send separate application material, except an email expressing the interest in DoA positions.
DoA is a full institutional member of DESI. It also leads the Chinese consortium of PFS, and CSST cosmology program. DoA members also have access to AliCPT, SKA and other surveys. DoA has close collaboration with the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, and the particle physics group at SJTU. DoA owns a HPC platform with a 2600 CPUs cluster and a fat node of 6T memory.
