PMO is located in Nanjing, just one hour from Shanghai by high-speed train. The galaxy and cosmology group has 6 faculty members with 10 graduate students. Research topics include models for galaxy formation, N-body/hydro-dynamical simulation, strong and weak lensing. The group owns a middle-size computer, with 1200 CPU cores. The successful candidate will have full access to the computer and can apply for independent funding from NSFC, from the CAS President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI). PIFI will provide highly competitive salary if succeed.
