The "Donostia International Physics Center" (DIPC), located in San Sebastian, Spain, is accepting applications for a postdoctoral appointment in cosmology. The successful candidate will join the newly-created group on computational cosmology led by Prof. Raul E. Angulo and be part of the project "Maximising Discovery with Galaxy Surveys", funded by an ERC Starting Grant. Applicants with expertise in cosmological simulations, theoretical modelling of galaxy and dark matter structure formation, and/or analyses of cosmological datasets, are particularly encouraged to apply. The start of the appointment is September 2018, although a later date is possible. The duration of the position will be 2 years, with the possibility of an extension for a third year. The position has no teaching duties associated, comes with generous travel funds, and the co-supervision of PhD and summer students is possible and encouraged.
