Job Description

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology invites applications for a NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) opportunity with Dr. Peter Eisenhardt of JPL's Astrophysics and Space Sciences Section and Dr. Davy Kirkpatrick of IPAC. The postdoctoral fellow will play a leading role over a two year period in CatWISE, a full sky WISE-selected catalog based on the ensemble of WISE and NEOWISE data, and in exploiting the scientific opportunities provided. Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in Astrophysics and a strong background in working with large datasets, and a keen interest in astrometry and the solar neighborhood is highly desirable.
