Postdoctoral Fellowship in Galaxy Evolution, Interstellar Medium, and Star-Formation.

Applications are invited for postdoctoral fellowships in The Department of Astrophysics at Tel Aviv University Israel (physics.tau.ac.il/astrophysics) for theoretical studies in the areas of galaxy evolution, interstellar- and intergalactic-medium, and star-formation. Candidates with experience in any of the areas of ISM theory, astrochemistry, radiative transfer, dynamics, population synthesis, spectroscopy, atomic and molecular processes, hydrodynamics simulations, and galaxy evolution from low- to high-redshift, are encouraged to apply.

Fellowships will be for up to three years, for independent research work, and for joint projects together with Prof. Amiel Sternberg and research team. These fellowships will also enable cooperation with the observational/instrumental Infrared Group at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics in Garching Germany (mpe.mpg.de/ir/ir_personnel), as part of a German-Israeli Science Cooperation Project (DIP) supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
