About the position
Position as Postdoctoral Research Fellow is available at the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics.
The appointment is a fulltime position and is for a period of up to four years, 25 % of which is devoted to required duties.
This position is dedicated to an ERC-funded project called "Cosmoglobe -- mapping the Universe from the Milky Way to the Big Bang", which aims to construct a global model of the radio, microwave and sub-mm sky. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to one or more of the directly relevant experiments, which include COMAP, LiteBIRD, PASIPHAE and SPIDER. Experience with other relevant data sets is also highly desirable.
A generous personal travel/expenses grant of 60 kNOK is available per year. The institute also has access to world-class computing facilities, both in-house and on-campus, that are directly available to the candidate.
