Job Description

Expressions of interest are invited for  postdoctoral positions in Particle Astrophysics to be held within the AstroNu Group led by Prof. Tamborra at the Niels Bohr International Academy and DARK. The foreseen appointment is for two years with a starting date in the fall 2023 and it can be extended by one year subject to performance.

We seek highly motivated, outstanding individuals who will develop research programs in particle astrophysics, nuclear astrophysics, and/or multi-messenger astrophysics. Expertise in neutrino transport, particle acceleration in astrophysical sources, multi-messenger astrophysics, and/or high-performance computing will be considered valuable assets.

The Niels Bohr International Academy is a young initiative committed to fostering the traditions of internationalism, interdisciplinarity and excellence in physics, which characterize the Niels Bohr Institute. It functions as a primary center for fundamental research. Areas of research of the DARK Center include astrophysical transients, particle astrophysics, high-redshift galaxies, dark matter and dark energy, black holes, and cosmic dust.

To guarantee full consideration, the requested material should be uploaded before November 25, 2022. For more details and instructions, please follow this link.
