Postdoctoral Position(s) in Observational Cosmology

Applicants are invited to apply for one (or several) postdoctoral position(s) in Cosmology at the Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics at ETH Zurich.  

At ETH Zurich, the candidate(s) will work in the Cosmology group of Prof. Alexandre Refregier and may focus on data analysis, observations and/or theoretical interpretation. The candidate(s) will also be encouraged to develop their own research programme. The research group is involved in several wide-field state-of-the-art cosmological survey projects and has guaranteed access to high-performance computer clusters. Candidates should have a PhD in Physics or Astronomy. Previous experience in cosmology is preferred, but experience in related areas is also suitable. The position(s) is/are initially for two years, extendible to a third year with attractive salaries. Postdocs have access to research funds for computers, travel, conference participation, publication charges and other needs.
