If so, the Education and Public Outreach (E/PO) group at Sonoma State University (SSU) is seeking an expert in instructional technology. E/PO currently supports multi-wavelength education programs for NASA through NASA's Universe of Learning, the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope and the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory. Additionally, funded by a new five-year grant from the US Department of Education, E/PO develops an integrated hands-on experiment-based curriculum for high school students that aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards. We are looking for an individual with:
• A bachelor's degree preferably in computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related technical fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study with relevant equivalent training and experience.
• Experience with HTML, WordPress, Javascript, Drupal, and the operating systems Unix, Windows, and Mac OS and OSX.
• Experience and/or classes in astronomy and telescope operations is highly desired.
