Haverford College invites applications for one or more multi-year full-time leave replacement faculty positions in the Departments of Physics and Astronomy beginning in the academic year of 2022-23.

Qualifications

Successful candidates are expected to be able to teach courses across the undergraduate curriculum and mentor undergraduate students in research projects. Laboratory teaching experience is a plus. Haverford is a highly selective college with motivated students and a commitment to both quality instruction and significant scholarship. Our location in the close western suburbs of Philadelphia, with good connections to many East Coast cities, allows for convenient interactions with colleagues at other institutions.  

Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. by June 2022.
