We invite applications for one postdoctoral researcher in Extragalactic Astrophysics, reference number: SU FV-2674-19.
The position is available from November 2019, for a period of 2 years. A third year may be offered upon funding availability. Later/earlier starting is negotiable. The closing date for application is 4 October 2019.
The successful candidate will be working with Dr. Angela Adamo. We are searching for highly qualified scientists to undertake studies of stellar cluster feedback in local star-forming galaxies, developing new tools to combine the information obtain from FUV spectroscopy, optical and NIR HST imaging and VLT 3D spectroscopic data. Experience in multi wavelength studies in local/high redshift galaxies will be beneficial. The successful applicant will join the galaxy group research, focusing on linking the star formation process at parsec scales to galactic scale dynamics and global physical properties. The position will also afford the possibility to interact with the larger astronomy and physics community at Stockholm University and the Oskar Klein Centre.
