The National Science Foundation (NSF) Physics Frontier Center for Matter at Atomic Pressure (CMAP) (https://www.rochester.edu/cmap/), a multi-institutional enterprise anchored at the University of Rochester, invites applications for multiple positions for Graduate Fellowships (CMAP Fellows) with research interests and experience in high energy density physics, material science, quantum matter, extreme chemistry, physics, astrophysics, planetary science, earth and environmental sciences, or related disciplines.
CMAP Fellows at the Universiy of Rochester will be part of the larger CMAP NSF Physics Frontier Center, a collaboration among Rochester; Princeton University; University of California, Davis; Massachusetts Institute of Technology; University at Buffalo; and University of California, Berkeley, for which the team members communicate weekly. Only accepted students at the University of Rochester are eligible for this Fellowship. Students may apply to UR graduate programs at the link below.
Positions may be available for multiple years, depending on performance. Review of applications will be ongoing until successful candidates are chosen.
