postdoctoral position in extragalactic astrophysics

The Department of Physics at the University of North Texas invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position with Dr. Yuan Li. The successful candidate will work in the broad areas of galaxy evolution, galaxy clusters, black hole accretion and feedback, interstellar medium, intra-cluster medium and the circum-galactic medium. A background in computational astrophysics is preferred, but not required. Candidates with experience in X-ray/ALMA/optical IFU observations are also encouraged to apply.

The start data is summer/fall 2021 with some flexibility. The appointment is for two years. Renewal for a third year is subject to performance and funding availability.
