The Department of Physics and Astronomy in the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar of Physics and Astronomy (announcement number R0123169). The postdoctoral scholar will work broadly in the field of the theory of planet formation in binary star systems with Professor Rebecca Martin at UNLV and Dr Stephen Lubow at the Space Telescope Science Institute. UNLV has an active astrophysics research group, housed in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, with research interests that include exoplanets and planet formation, high energy astrophysics, accretion discs, gamma ray bursts, galactic and extragalactic astronomy, and laboratory astrophysics.
