Overview

The California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Postdoctoral Scholars Program at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in JPL's Origin of the Universe Group. This opportunity broadly targets research supporting the cosmological science case and program development of ongoing and future large-scale structure surveys, with a particular emphasis on NASA Wide-Field Infrared Survey Telescope (WFIRST). Dr. Olivier Dore will serve as JPL postdoctoral advisor to the selected candidate. The appointee will carry out research in collaboration with the JPL advisor, resulting in publications in the open literature.

Responsibilities

The sucessful candidate will interact closely with the rest of the Dark Sector group at JPL. Applicants are encouraged to explain how their research program applies to large-scale structure surveys and other cosmological probes.
