Job Description

AMA is seeking an Aerospace Controls and Robotics Engineer to join our team in either our Denver, CO or Santa Clara, CA offices.

The candidate will be primarily responsible for the development of control systems and custom electronics for use with advanced aerospace vehicles and systems, including research and development projects and large space vehicles.  Secondary responsibilities may include various robotic systems development, flight mechanics ranging from hypersonic vehicles to launch vehicles, and electric vehicle vertical takeoff and landing (EVTOL) systems. Customers include commercial space companies, NASA, and the Department of Defense. As a dynamic, small business with many projects for various customers, AMA values multi-disciplinary engineers that can work multiple, unrelated projects simultaneously with a range of cross-disciplinary skill sets ranging from conceptual design, to manufacturing, to business development.  Any successful candidate will be expected to expand their knowledge base to take on new roles and responsibilities as the needs ultimately arise.
