Assistant/Associate Professor in Astronomy/Space Science

The Department of Physics, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Muscat, Oman, invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in Astronomy/Space Science: The candidate should have a PhD in Astronomy/Astrophysics or Space Science with proven experience in teaching relevant courses. Additional experience in developing CubeSats and payload/ADCS integration is preferred. Applicants are expected to have strong record of achievements in astronomical/space science research and committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.

The successful candidate is expected to carry out original research in the collaborative and interdisciplinary environment of the Physics Department and College of Science, engage in high-quality teaching and mentor students at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
