The cosmology group (Dekel, Mandelker, Birnboim) within the Center for Astrophysics and Planetary Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will offer postdoctoral fellowships to start in the fall of 2024. The group focuses on the theory of the formation, evolution and dynamics of galaxies and large-scale structure, including gas around and between galaxies and the first galaxies. The research includes simulations, semi-analytic and analytic modeling, in comparison to observations, possibly utilizing machine learning.
