Applications are invited for an immediate postdoc opening in astrophysical disks and fluids. Candidates with background in disk hydrodynamics, magnetohydrodynamics, and computational astrophysics are preferred. The successful applicant will work on modeling the dynamics of stellar mass objects (stars and black holes) in AGN disks, and can also collaborate on other projects at LANL. The initial appointment is for two years, with a possible third year extension. Candidates should hold a PhD in related fields completed within the past five years or soon to be completed. Postdoc will be in the Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology group of the Theoretical Division.
