Applications are invited for graduate studies (MSc and PhD) focusing on black hole astrophysics at the University of Lethbridge with Prof. Alexandra Tetarenko. Successful applicants will work on topics related to observational studies of jets launched from black holes, using a variety of different techniques (time-domain, imaging, polarimetry, spectral lines) to analyze data from international telescopes. Additionally, there is the opportunity to get involved in the Event Horizon Telescope collaboration, for which Prof. Tetarenko is a leading member.
