The Astrophysics department of the AMNH in New York City invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position in stellar/exoplanet astronomy. The successful candidate will work jointly with Drs. Ruth Angus, Jackie Faherty, and Trevor David on TESS data to study stars, brown dwarfs & exoplanets. The successful candidate will have a PhD in astronomy, statistics, or a related field by the date of the appointment. A background in stellar/brown dwarf/exoplanetary astrophysics, and/or statistics & machine learning methods is preferred. The start date is flexible and could be any time after January 1, 2020.
