Job Description

Applications are invited for a 2-year Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr. Benoît Commerçon and Dr. Guillaume Laibe at the Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon (http://cral.univ-lyon1.fr) in the AstroENS team based at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon on computational star and planet formation.

This includes any of the following aspects:
- Formation and evolution of protostellar disks
- Evolution of dust grains from the diffuse interstellar medium up to protoplanetary disks
- Modelling of dusty turbulence
- Modelling of multi-fluid flows dynamics.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Astrophysics, Physics or Applied mathematics in relation with hydrodynamics with experience computational star or planet formation.

Compensation Notes

Salary: The initial monthly net salary is around 2000€ and is commensurate with experience.
